Hometown Picnic

Starting Life Over will hold a Hometown Picnic from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 22 at the North County Fairgrounds in Vero Beach. Family fun for everyone includes singers, dancers, food, a pie-baking contest, pony rides  and more.  Admission is $5 prior to the event or $8 at the gate. Under 6 is free.

The group's goal is to open a men's rehabilitation house.
