Sam Lyons, financial advisor with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, will lead a free informational workshop about the economy and the current state of the financial markets Saturday, June 8. The event will take place at 9 a.m to 12 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1301 Sebastian Blvd, (CR 512), Sebastian. It is open to the community.
During the workshop, Lyons will provide updates on important economic and investment news, strategies for coping with market and economic conditions, and perspectives on the markets and suggested actions.

"People have many questions about where to turn given today's economic conditions," said Errol Reiner, of Christ the King's Congregational Council, host and sponsor of the event. "We believe that this seminar will answer many common questions and provide other useful insights."
