| Bart Mazzarella ("The Bartman")
Development Associate
Bart used to go by the name "Bob Marx" during a long career in secular Radio and television in Connecticut which began in January 1968 right out of college. Eight of those years were spent as Mid-day disc jockey and Sport's Director at the first FM Stereo radio station in the nation, WDRC in Hartford. Bart also served as the network voice of ESPN from 1984 - 1987.
Bart came to a personal relationship with Jesus shortly after moving to Florida in 1987. He has since served in youth and singles ministry at his church in Vero Beach.
He became Christian
FM's voice in the morning on Labor
Day weekend 1991 and served in that
position through the end of 2005. You've probably also heard and seen him on local TV and radio commercials, film narration, or as the MC of Concerts, Banquets, and local charity events.
The Bartman's favorite past-time is exercising at local gyms, playing guitar (had a hit record in 1967 with "Detroit Soul"), and hanging out with his best friend and wife of 30+ years, Kas (also his high school sweetheart).
