An Open Letter From The "Bart-Man"!
Dear loyal Christian FM listeners and supporters,
After spending nearly half of my broadcasting life as your morning man on Christian FM I have decided that the time has come for me to make some changes in my pathway of life. At the end of 2005, I will hand over the morning show microphone and will no longer be heard mornings on Christian FM.
My life's journey took me to Christian FM as an intervention from God 14 years ago. I have certainly derived more satisfaction from being a part of this ministry than my previous 16 years on secular radio up north.
Please know that the decision to vacate my position is entirely my own and I leave with but one regret; That I will no longer be as actively involved in your daily life each morning as I have been. However, I will continue to be very active behind the scenes at Christian FM and
you will hear me on-mic during Careathons and special broadcasts. My voice will still be heard regularly in a number of other ways, just not live in the mornings.
My time behind the mic these past 14 years has been remarkable. I have made many friends and have had the opportunity to impact listeners in ways I could never have imagined! Together we have seen lives changed and miracles happen. Being the morning voice of Christian FM has been my dream job, a love and passion of mine, and one that I will surely miss.
I now look forward to serving this radio ministry in a number of new creative ways as I work behind the scenes to help Christian FM fulfill the potential that God has ordained. I also look forward to sleeping in until at least 6am, (that's when my wife rises), as well as spending more quality time nurturing a relationship with her that began in high school. I welcome this new chapter in my life and pray that God's will be done as I finish one page and turn another.
Christian FM will still be "The station that loves you", and will provide your family with the best quality programming available. I am excited about our future plans as you should in the weeks, months and years ahead.
I will think of you every time I pour my first cup of coffee in the morning.
And now, "May the most you pray for be the least you receive, and may God richly bless you." Thanks for listening.
